2nd Annual Chicago Medical Tourism Conference on “Globalization and Model Partnership in Healthcare: United States and Turkey”, 12 – 13 March 2010, Chicago

The ‘‘2nd Annual Chicago Medical Tourism Conference on Globalization and Model Partnership in Healthcare: United States and Turkey’’ organized by Turkish American Chamber of Commerce & Industry (TACCI) Midwest will take place in Chicago from March 12th to March 13th,  2010 with the sponsorship of Accredited Hospitals Association of Turkey (AHAT) and Turkish Airlines (THY).

Conference participants shall include; state senators, media, tourism and intermediary organizations, health tourism industry representatives, insurance companies, doctors, hospitals and medical schools. Ms. Hilary Clinton, US Secretary of State and Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey are expected to attend the Conference.

Within the scope of the conference, importance of medical tourism from United States to Turkey will be discussed in terms of its benefits to the American economy and its contributions to relations between two countries.
