The Healthcare Committee operating under DEİK/Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey was formed by the Turkish-American Business Council (TAİK) in 2007 with the aim of promoting Turkey as a medical travel destination in the U.S. . Shortly after its launch, the Healthcare Committee was designated to work not only with the U.S. but also with other countries. The Committee aims to disseminate precise and correct information about the private healthcare sector in Turkey to international patients enabling them with the opportunity to receive timely and effective treatment through state-of-the-art technology at the “right” price. In doing this, the Committee works closely with the Business Councils of DEİK.
